Here at the Jamaica Arts Council our goal is simple: To support the growth of the arts here in southeast Queens.

The programs featured in the left and right columns on this page, are those that are presented by the Jamaica Arts Council. This middle section features arts activities presented by us or any of the other arts presenters here in Jamaica — everyone from Arts in Christian Theatre to the York College Performing Arts Center.

Originally begun as a program of A Better Jamaica, the Jamaica Arts Council was incorporated as a separate entity on March 22, 2016 and received its 501(c)3 federal tax-exempt status on December 20, 2016. You can reach us at info@jamaicaartscouncil.org
